Beginning on June 9th, we'll be hosting The Mic on 2nd Second Sundays at the Civic Pavilion on City Hall Plaza! Every event will have an open mic, Feature performer, free food, and good music. The open mic list will be available at the door, and is first-come, first-serve.

A LIL' BIT ABOUT THE MIC
Founded in 2009, the "if you can Feel it, you can Speak it" Open Mic prides itself on being the only monthly open mic in the greater Boston area dedicated to voices of the LGBTQIA2+ communities of color and our accomplices. We welcome ANYONE to step up and bless our mic! We offer a non-discriminating, non-pretentious, non-elitist platform for one and all to express themselves.
Never been on the mic before? More reason to come - we love newbies! Don't consider yourself an Artists/Performer? That shouldn't stop you from expressing yourself! We welcome all forms and levels of talent and expression, and have long been regarded as one of the best spaces to try something for the first time and/or test out new material.
In our 15 year history we've been blessed to host events at various venues across the city, and got our start as the opening event for the legendary Lezbns N' Power Entertainment Thursday night parties. The Milky Way/Bella Luna in Jamaica Plain was our home for over a decade, and in 2024 we were invited to host a year-long series of events at the Civic Pavilion on Boston City Hall Plaza.
